Hi guys! I got this free sample in April and I'm just now getting around to trying it. I've actually heard so much about this primer, being one of the best out there. Form videos to blog posts, everyone has something nice to say about it. I used for the first time this week, and I had a few thoughts & I think I would like to share them with you!

"I remember the first time I ordered from E.l.f. It was about 3 years ago when I had just started my makeup journey. I was excited, and scared. Scared because I though the products would be low quality and cheap. But here I am today a much wiser beauty blogger, still purchasing and loving makeup by E.l.f Cosmetics"
-Now that I'm finished with my extremely cheesy and dramatic intro -.- I can get into this post!

Happy Holidays! I just wanted to share with all of you my nails for this week. I love to paint my nails with different colors, glitters, gels...and so on! This week I saw this nail look on one of my favorite beauty blogger/vloggers, Camila at SuperVaidosa.com. She had this nail design, and I re-created it.

I really cannot believe that Christmas is almost here! I can just remember last years Christmas :) Well today, I want to share with you my Makeup Wishlist for Christmas! I've been reading blog posts and watching youtube videos about two products that I REALLY would love, so keep reading if you would like to see them.
Firstly, I really want a Brush Kit from SigmaBeauty.com. I see these brushes EVERYWHERE! I have researched each an every brush from them, and I think I want to get my hands on some. I think I want either the Make Me Cool Brush Kit; because I love the color blue:) Hopefully I get a chance to score these brushes!
SigmaBeauty Make Me Cool Essential Kit - $120 |
An eyeshadow palette that has gotten some amazing reviews is the Lorac Pro Palette! This palette comes with 16 shades, 8 matte and 8 shimmer. It is yet ANOTHER neutral palette. Palettes with only neutral colors have been popping up everywhere! I would love this palette because it seems to have a shade for any color eye look.
Lorac Pro Palette - $42 |
Now while these products are COMPLETELY out of my budget, I still would purchase them because they seem like products that would last a while! The brushes would be an amazing addition to my collection, and the palette would be great for any makeup look I want to create.
Just incase I dont put anything else up until after the Holidays...
I would like to wish everyone an Amazing Holiday Season!
:*

A few moths ago, I came to my senses and went out and purchased a new mascara. I was sadly using a clear mascara (I know) on my lashes. I purchased one of the newer mascaras from Maybelline, The Colossal Volume Express. I got it from CVS, for $6.99 and you can find it HERE.

Hey all! I hope you all had a safe Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend! Did you take advantage of the great discounts?! Today's makeup look is the 2nd holiday look I had planned. This look is aimed towards snow! I know show is (usually) white, but using light purples seemed more flattering. I broke out my glitter for this look to try out an amazing glitter/winged liner technique in the video as well. I hope you guys enjoy! Let me know in the comments what you think! As always, all products w/ links will be down below :

Hey everyone! It's that time of year again, Holiday time! I love to see different holiday makeup looks and trends. To kick off the season here on my blog and on my YouTube channel, I am doing 3 different makeup looks. This looks is the first. I kept the look classic and used gold and red eyeshadows. I don't know why, but when I think of Christmas makeup, I think of Red lips! So I did a red lip on myself! I had so much fun creating this look. I hope you all enjoy watching !

THIS IS WHAT I USE!!
What I use for my skin may not work for yours, so please be careful in what you try. Always make sure to consult your doctor (or if you can't do that, Web.MD!!) if these products would be helpful to your skin tone Especially is you have skin conditions or just a different skin type that I do."

Hello everyone, I hope that is well, with you and your families! A few weeks ago, the hair care company Parnevu, contacted me about reviewing some of their hair products. I gladly accepted, I saw it as a great opportunity not only for me, but for Parnevu as well :) I received 3 products from them and I will be reviewing each of them in 3 different posts. It would just be too long and tedious to do 1 huge review, so today I will start with one of the products. Please be on the lookout for the other 2 Parnevu reviews to drop! Be sure to watch my video review below!
Parnevu is a hair care company that specializes in products for African American/Ethnic background hair types. You can take a look at their website here - Parnevu.com I personally am VERY picky with what I add to my hair. I like to use things to reduce the dryness in my hair, as well as the damage. That is why I chose items from their "T-Tree" line. I've used Tea Tree in my hair before and it seemed to help my hair with damage, and the overall appearance of it. This product, the T-Tree Break Control, is a product that claims to help stop breakage, and prevent split ends. It retails for $6.00 on the Parnevu website. I've also seen this at drugstores.

Hi my lovely ladies! I hope all is well and that everyone is enjoying the first weeks of fall! Today I am doing a post on makeup products that I will be using more of now that it is fall. This year, I've been seeing so many new Fall trends. Like the bold red lips, dramatic eyes, no-shine skin. I love how everyone is modifying the norm, and creating trends!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is well! Today I have a new video for you today. As everyone knows, school has started back up again :( Back to waking up at 5:30, homework, tests the list goes on!! So one morning this week, I filmed me getting ready for school. It was just a normal day at school, no big events or anything, but I love to look my absolute best for anything! For my makeup that day, I did my "no-makeup, makeup" look. If you don't know what that is, it's when you use as less makeup as possible to make your face flawless. I usually do this when I go to school, or just a regular low-maintenance day. So I hope you enjoy me getting ready for school!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend. I also hope that those who go back to school this week are ready to start learning again! I start school on Thursday the 6th, and I'm so excited to see all of my friends and to get back into the swing of things. This week I'm busy getting ready for school. I'm ironing my uniforms, buying last minute accessories, and other stuff. Over the summer I didn't wear much makeup simply because I didn't need to, and it's less of a hassle. Today I washed all of my makeup brushes just to have them clean for my first days at school.
To wash them, I use my face cleanser the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit and I mix it with a simple antibacterial hand soap. I wet the brush bristles, with the brush facing upside down (so the water doesn't get into the ferrules and loosen the glue that keeps the brush together). I place the soap into the palm of my hand and I swirl the bristles into it. I keep "swirling" the brush around until all the makeup is out of the brush. I repeat this process one more time, which is just making sure that the brush is clean. I then place the brush on a paper towel on its side to dry. TIP: It's better to dry brushes up-side down to prevent water and soap from getting into the ferrules of the brush. Nothing is worse than your favorite makeup brush breaking in half!
When doing your makeup, whether it be everyday or one a week; it is very important that you wash/clean your makeup brushes regularly. Once a week is good for anyone. Practicing tips like this not only are clean, but they help your health as well!

Hey everyone, I hope all is well! Today I come to you with a review. Wet n' Wild is a cosmetics brand that I've just know started to experiment with. I've tried quite a few things from them, and I'm really impressed. I think Wet n' Wild's amazingly affordable prices and great quality products are a great sign for anyone to try out their stuff. Their Color Icon Trio palettes are eyeshadow palettes that come with 3 shades. One for the Eyelid, the Crease, and the Brow bone. Perfect for someone who has recently started off with makeup and want to create that simple smokey eye look. At around $2.99 each, they are definitely a steal.
Packaging: The eyeshadow palette seems secure in it's plastic casing. They make a lot of different shades for this particular palette, so it';s nice that they have a clear lid so you can see each one clearly. Along with the eye shadows, the palette comes with two little applicators (one sponge & one tiny brush).
Color/Pigmentation: The eyeshadows give off a pretty "safe" wash of color. If I want to have a bold show up of color with these shades I have to really pack on the shadows. This palettes colors also come up a bit chalky. Especially the brow bone shade, with is common for most light/matte eyeshadows. The crease color comes up well and is really bold. To me the most annoying shade is the eyelid shade. It comes up plain, and unappealing when applied to my eyes.
Quality: I think that this palette was well thought up. It was an amazing idea to have 3 different eyeshadows in one palette with designated to each part of the eye. Great for people who are just starting out with makeup, but the shadows themselves just come off pretty short when it comes to pigmentation. The eyeshadows are chalky, and not really "easy" to apply.
Overall, I think that the idea for this palette was great, but these colors just aren't working well enough. Maybe the other shades in this palette collection have better color payoff, but this one just falls short.

Hi ladies! I really hope everyone is doing well, because today I have a new review to share with all of you. I recently picked up some Wet n' Wild makeup products. I have read some good reviews on some of their products so I went to Rite-Aid to pick some up. Out of all the things I bought I got their MegaGlo Illuminating Powder. It comes in 4 different shades, and I got it in the shade "Starlight Bronze". This powder retails for $3.99 and you can find it here from Drugstore.com.
Packaging: This powder comes in an 'aluminum' like tin that has a clear top so you can see the shade without opening it. You screw off the lid to reveal the powder. The only thing that can get annoying about the screw top is sometimes when you want to screw it closed, you have to try more than once.
Color/Pigmentation: The color payoff that you get from this powder is really amazing for a drugstore powder. It gives off a really nice bronzed/shimmery glow. The glitters in it are a bit chunky so you have to apply this with a light hand. This can be used for many things, such as a highlighter (what I use it for), an bronzer (for lighter-skinned people), an all over body shimmer, and much more depending on your creativity! The swatches below are of the product when I swiped my finger over it ONCE!
Quality: This powder has an amazing texture to it. It has a buttery smooth feel to it. When I apply this powder it glides nicely on my face. I use a Synthetic Duo-Fiber brush to apply it so it goes on lightly. The glitters aren't such a big issue if you apply the powder lightly. If you pack on too much, the glitters seem very annoying on the skin. Other that that, the powder lasts all day, and gives off an amazing glow.

I think this powder is amazing for anyone who wants a bronzed/glow to their skin. I know many dark-skinned people, who complain that they can't use the highlighters that the "big' brands sell because they aren't formulated for dark skin. I think this can really get the job done! I can proudly say that I found something that would look amazing of any skin tone, and flatter anyone!
