Achieve Clear, Glowing Dark Skin

Not to sound self-centered, but one compliment I get often is how clear and even my skin is. Now I think to my self - "Is it irregular to be dark-skinned and have clear even skin?"
I don't think so. So today, I am sharing with you all my tips to getting clear (no acne/breakouts), even (no dark marks), and glowing skin. This tips are specially curated for us darker ladies because most of the products on the market aren't made with our skin type-or shade (but that's another post) in mind.
Cleanser

This is a product that I've been using for about 5 years now. It does a great job at removing all oil and dirt on your face. It contains Vitamin C in the form of grapefruit to give a clean refreshed feeling. I reccomend this to ALL skin types!
Mask/Scrub

It's really important to use a mask or a scrub on your face after cleansing/exfoliating. You can put back moisture into the skin and help the overall brightness of your complexion. I like this scrub because it removes the dull look from my face and renews it with glowing skin. Who doesn't love the scent of oatmeal and honey?
Exfoliator

Now this 'step' is completely optional. Most people can use a scrub and that covers their exfoliating process. I like to use a brush like this to help scrub out dead skin cells. This is a must because about every week, our skin renews itself and leaves a layer of dead skin cells behind. Don't you want to get rid of those? I use this with my cleanser once a week. After using you can immediately see a difference.
Toner

Toning is important because it will remove anything left behind after cleansing. Like dead skin, bits of a skin mask and such. I like this one by Neutrogena because it contains no harsh alcohol and is very cooling on the skin.
Moisturizer/Sunscreen

Now if you want even skin, this moisturizer is the way to go! I cannot emphasize how much the Ambi Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer has helped my skin.
