Out of all the makeup products I own, highlighters have to be my favorite. I love to collect different types from powder to liquid, pressed to loose. Even though they all essentially do the same thing, they are all very different especially when it comes to their colors. I have curated a list of my all time favorite Summertime Highlighters and added in swatches like a good girl. If you are lacking that 'glow' these will surely help you out just in time for Summer.
A few months after Coastal Scents put out their Revealed palette, a new palette was announced on their site. The Revealed 2 palette is a new neutral palette that contains shades similar to the Naked palette. I have the Revealed 1 and reviewed it here. This palette has 20 warm rose toned shades that are very complimenting to most skin tones. It retails for $20 on the Coastal Scents website.

Hey all! Today I have a subscription box review for you. If you can remember, I featured Wantable.co on my blog last year when I reviewed their April makeup box. I was contacted again this year to do another box review and I was extremely excited. Wantable.co offers a monthly subscription box in Makeup, Jewelry/Accessories, and Intimates. I opted for the makeup box (of course). Each box contains 3-5 full sized products. So lets get into my thoughts on this months box.
My summer makeup routine, has definitely changed this year. I've purchased new products that are more catered to my skin, and I've been reaping the benefits. I have decided to make a post showing you what I use on my face everyday. The weather is changing (praise god) and my makeup products are changing as well!
After cleansing my face I moisturize with the Ambi Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer(not pictured above).It has an SPF of 30 so it gives great protection against the sun's harmful rays.I apply the Iman BB Cream in 'Earth Deep', all over my face with a damp beauty blender sponge. It gives my the best 'barely there' coverage and evens out my complexion and also has an SPF of 15. Sometimes if it's a really hot day, I powder my face with the Black Opal Deluxe Finishing Powder in 'Deep', to combat oiliness. This gives my face a natural finish so it doesn't look too matte. To add color to my face, I use my all time favorite La Femme Blushes in 'Russet & Cinnabar'to my cheeks up to my hairline (something I do so that it can look more natural, rosy cheeks aren't that complimenting on deep skin). On the high points of my face I use my Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder in 'Starlight Bronze'. This gives me that summertime glow that I love.
On my eyes I simply apply some powder to my eyelids to even them out and then glam out my lashes. I use the cult favorite Benefit They're Real Mascara. If you haven't tried this mascara, you need to jump on it! It really lengthens the lashes and adds volume.
I like to keep it simple on my lips because re-applying a lipstick all day while it's hot can be annoying. I use the E.l.f Mineral Lipgloss in 'Wild'which is a sheer pink. It lasts a while and isn't sticky.
And that is how I beat my face in the Summertime!
