The product I'm reviewing today is the E.l.f Eyelid Primer. I purchased this products about 3-4 months ago for only $1 and I am ready to unveil what I think of it. Keep reading if you want to learn more.
According to E.l.f...this primer "Preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow. The ultra sheer nude color works to increase eye color longevity. The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear."
I wear eye makeup almost everyday and I use this before I apply any makeup. When I first purchased it I used it incorrectly. I applied the primer directly all over my eyelid. After about 2 weeks or so I saw a video on the correct way to apply it. When applying this primer you definitely don't want to over use it. It will dry on your eyelid and become a tacky looking mess, plus your wasting product. Just applying one or two little "dots" will get the job done. The formula will smooth out and give you a clean canvas to apply makeup on.
On the website they have 3 new shades which are
- Champane-a light rosy pink
- Pearl-a bright, shimmery white
- Golden-yellow based with shimmers

Okay so as a woman with relaxed hair, it is essential that we know how to mantain that "fresh from salon look" with minial manipulation. I don't know if you all are aware of the best way to keep your hair looking it's best, It's called wrapping your hair.
If you have been to a dominican salon of any salon that deals with ethnic/relaxed hair, you know what I'm refering to. Wrapping your hair is an easy, hassle-free way to keep hair straight and healthy looking. By wrapping your hair you are keeping the natural, healty oils inside of your hair. It also keeps your "straight/tamed" hairstyles intact.
Just think, if you wrap your hair you save your hair from heat damage. Because if you just put your hair up in any "normal" way, you are defeating the purpoe; you will then use heat stylers like flat irons and blowdryers to fix you hairstyles.
When wrapping your hair you should tie it down with a soft "silk" scarf to keep hair smooth. If you are thinking of wrapping your hair for the first time I suggest you go to a salon preferrably a dominican salon and get it done. Wrapping your hair can take years of practice (trust me I know!!)
Any questions, don't be afraid to comment on this post
Bye for now-Mariam :*
