Bronze Eyeshadow Favorites

Wednesday, January 14, 2015

I love a nice Bronze Smokey Eye. Bronze is an amazing shade for deeper skin because it blends and highlights on your skin so well. Today I'll be sharing with you my favorite eyeshadows in the bronze color family. I just realized that all of these are cream/gel shadows and are all my E.l.f Cosmetics, really a coincidence. Let's get into these!

This stick from E.l.f is one of my definite favorites because of how easy it is to apply. On days when I want a simple/neutral eye look, I swipe this on and blend it out with a deep brown shadow in the crease. I always apply a primer though because it does crease! The shadow comes across as my eyelids but better!

This was my very first cream shadow and I try to use it sparingly so it will last a while. This is your 100% gold shade. This is great for when you want a bright gold smokey eye. I used it in my very popular "Bronze Smokey Eye for WOC" video linked here. It does not crease and lasts all day!

This is a newer purchase for me, I got most of the shades in this line but this is my definite favorite. This is very similar to Bronze but it pulls more golden brown. I like this because it gives my eyes a really glamorous look. This one also does not crease on me and lasts a good amount of time.

This eyeshadow has a really cool texture. It is like a gel with a very airy and spongy texture. The name of this shade is very fitting as it is a deep cranberry shade that is very shimmery. I love to apply this over a black smokey eye or a brown smokey look - great for evening makeup. This texture is my favorite to work with and it lasts longest when used over a powder. I used this eyeshadow in my "New Years Makeup Tutorial" last year linked here.
