Hi ladies! I really hope everyone is doing well, because today I have a new review to share with all of you. I recently picked up some Wet n' Wild makeup products. I have read some good reviews on some of their products so I went to Rite-Aid to pick some up. Out of all the things I bought I got their MegaGlo Illuminating Powder. It comes in 4 different shades, and I got it in the shade "Starlight Bronze". This powder retails for $3.99 and you can find it here from Drugstore.com.
Packaging: This powder comes in an 'aluminum' like tin that has a clear top so you can see the shade without opening it. You screw off the lid to reveal the powder. The only thing that can get annoying about the screw top is sometimes when you want to screw it closed, you have to try more than once.
Color/Pigmentation: The color payoff that you get from this powder is really amazing for a drugstore powder. It gives off a really nice bronzed/shimmery glow. The glitters in it are a bit chunky so you have to apply this with a light hand. This can be used for many things, such as a highlighter (what I use it for), an bronzer (for lighter-skinned people), an all over body shimmer, and much more depending on your creativity! The swatches below are of the product when I swiped my finger over it ONCE!
Quality: This powder has an amazing texture to it. It has a buttery smooth feel to it. When I apply this powder it glides nicely on my face. I use a Synthetic Duo-Fiber brush to apply it so it goes on lightly. The glitters aren't such a big issue if you apply the powder lightly. If you pack on too much, the glitters seem very annoying on the skin. Other that that, the powder lasts all day, and gives off an amazing glow.

I think this powder is amazing for anyone who wants a bronzed/glow to their skin. I know many dark-skinned people, who complain that they can't use the highlighters that the "big' brands sell because they aren't formulated for dark skin. I think this can really get the job done! I can proudly say that I found something that would look amazing of any skin tone, and flatter anyone!

I haven't really done a post about this...But today I will! I'm going to show you basically what I keep in my everyday makeup rotation, products that I reach for everyday. I usually chge up my rotation about once a month, or depending on whether I buy new stuff. Now, while I don't wear makeup everyday, school is about to start which means always trying to look your best! I still have a few more products I want to get before school starts, but that's another post!
I reach for the E.l.f All Over Cover Stick because it covers up the deep circles under my eyes. I keep the E.l.f Complete Coverage Concealer nearby as well because I can mix up the colors and use it for any problem areas I have that particular day.
For my foundation, I use the Maybeline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation. I like how "fresh" look I get after I use this foundation. It doesn't look unnatural or cakey. It's also really easy to blend out onto my face.
The powder that I ALWAYS reach for would be the E.l.f Clarifying Pressed Powder. I sometimes use this alone, because it gives off a matte, finish to my face. It seems to boost the 'life' that my face gives off. (Strange but True!) It sets my foundation nicely as well. I keep one of these in my locker at school because there are days when I'm stressed, and my face gets oily.
For cheeks/highlighting, I use a blush. Most likely the NYX Powder Blush in Mocha. I like the flush of color that it gives my face. I highlight with the Wet & Wild Illuminating Face Powder. I can't use this all over my face simply because it is too shimmery. I use it as a highlighter/bronzer, because it gives me an amazing glow!
I don't really have a particular product for eye makeup that I use everyday. I just reach for anything. But I always use an eyeliner, whether it be liquid like the E.l.f Liquid Eyeliner or a Pencil one like the Wet & Wild Color Icon Pencil. Mascara is also a must, I use the Maybeline Great Lash Mascara in Clear/Transparent. I deem that Clear mascara is way easier to use, and it gives the same results!
For lips I always reach for...ready...VASELINE! It's just something that I've been using since I was a baby, and I will continue to use forever. It such a simple way to stay soft, and moisturized. For a lip color I use my E.l.f Lipstick in Seductive. It gives my lips a simple wash of color. Nothing to crazy!
Those are the products that I reach for everyday! I do change these products up, depending on what I'm feeling. When get new products, depending if I like them, I use them more often and push the older products to the side! I know, its bad, but don't act like you don't get excited over a new goodie!!

Hey everyone, today I'm doing a much anticipated review. This brush from E.L.F Cosmetics has been in the spotlight for some time now, so I decided to pick it up and try it out. I got it here on the e.l.f website for $3.
Lets jump right in! The bristles in this brush are 100% Synthetic Taklon Bristles. Brushes that are Synthetic have a better time applying cream/liquid products. It is also really soft, not scratchy or itchy. I also above not seen much shedding when I wash or use this brush, nor have I seen the bristles bleed when I wash the brush. Feeling just the bristles alone will tell you that it is a good and sturdy brush.
The flat-top design and the densely packed bristles make this brush great for applying liquid foundation. It is also good for applying powder almost the same way as a powder puff would. I love the way the bristles glide across the face while applying product to it.
The brush is amazingly cheap but everything about it seems otherwise. Many people compare this brush to the Sigma 180 Flat-Top Kabuki because of it's identical design and similar application method, I haven't tried that brush yet so I can't compare. But it seems like that brush at $16 can definately have the e.l.f powder brush as a dupe!
Overall I absolutely love this brush and I would recommend it to ANYONE! It's great for blending in foundation, applying powder. It's amazingly versatile and it's well put together. I give e.l.f an A+ for this brush.
